This summer I inhaled The Homemade God by Rachel Joyce. This was a literary mystery that took me right to Italy on a remote lake. The book is from the point of view of four siblings who hunt for their artist father’s missing painting before his untimely passing. Entangled in the mystery is their father’s new wife, and her Italian cousin. It kept me guessing until the very end!
