Pharos, A Patten Free Library Literary Magazine is a publication honoring the winners of our Annual Writing Contest.
This contest began in 2013 as a fiction and memoir contest for high schoolers. It has since expanded to include adults, middle schoolers, and categories in creative non-fiction and poetry. The contest accepts entries from library card holders, residents, and students from our service area, which includes the towns of Arrowsic, Georgetown, Woolwich, West Bath, and the City of Bath.
